This whole thing started because Matt had a camera, too much free time, and a golden retriever who refused to be boring. What followed was a YouTube channel, a small but loyal community, and — somehow — a merch store.
How It Started
Matt is a YouTuber. That's the whole pitch. He makes videos, people watch them, and occasionally those people want a physical object to prove they were there.
The channel is called FriendsWithMatt because the whole point is that you're not just a viewer — you're a friend. A weird internet friend Matt has never met, but a friend nonetheless.
The merch exists because Matt wanted to give you something real. A card. A sticker. A thing you can hold. Something that says 'I found this guy on the internet and I don't regret it.'
